MUSIC POSITIONS
Choir & Music Director (part-time)
The Choir and Music Director is a part-time, salaried employee who primarily directs the adult choir. This includes music planning, recruiting choir members, and leadership of regular rehearsals. This person also schedules and arranges for occasional special music performers for Sunday morning worship services, particularly when the choir is not performing, and plans special musical aspects for important seasons in the life of the church; for example, Christmas cantatas. Assistant Accompanist (per diem)
The Assistant Accompanist is an employee of Calvary who provides musical support for church worship services when the primary accompanist is absent, estimated to be around 12 times per year (once per month), and other special services as requested. Familiarity with sacred music, skilled piano ability, and comfort with different musical styles is required. Ability to play organ is much sought after but not required. MINISTRY POSITION
Ministry Associate (part-time)
The Ministry Associate of Calvary Baptist Church will serve in a part-time position within Calvary Baptist Church focusing on 1) assisting the senior pastor in providing pastoral services to the whole congregation, and 2) providing support and leadership to our Christian Education programs and volunteers. Candidates must be aligned with the mission and values of American Baptist Churches USA and Calvary Baptist, and must be able to work effectively within an ethnically and socioeconomically diverse setting.
