Small Groups and Classes
Although what we do at our facility are important, the word “church” refers to people, not a building. Jesus said, “Where two or three gather in my name, there am I with them” (Matt. 18:20). Calvary small groups meet in different places for different purposes (some in our church facility, others not). Here you will find a current listing. Contact us to help you connect. PLEASE NOTE: Many small groups wind down in the spring and summer, but we launch new ones every fall. Check back here around September of 2023 for new opportunities!
Finding God’s Peace In the Middle of All of It
Sunday morning meditation group
Sunday mornings at 10am in the church Libary
Meditation can help us anchor our minds in the here-and-now, where we are best prepared to hear God and act to meet the needs of the day. This guided meditation practice group will be an opportunity to learn and practice mediation which can support a new, more peaceful relationship with the racing mind or whatever plagues you and make space for a new way to experience God in everyday life. Whether you’ve never tried it before or you have a regular meditation practice, this group is open to all adults.
Come one, come all, see you there!
